The Rest of Ever

We met some time ago never thinking we would get this close to see

I never dreamed that I would find, that you could be the one for me

We talked off and on as the time passed learning bits and pieces here and there

Never knowing that one day you could so deeply care

One day later in time we began to talk a little more

Finding myself so comfortable with you, you began to open that tiny little door

Thinking that he crushed my heart, in fact to find he had set me free

To find something more passionate with you, not believing what could be

Talking one day about my panty drawer of all things, not even a naughty word and yet completely turned on

I knew then we were growing, this very special bond

We started talking on the phone which turned into every day

Always having to hear your voice to help me get through the way

Closer still we grow suddenly it Christmas Eve

I could think of nothing else that awful night, but wanting you to come and help me flee

Realizing then I think even before I had fallen in love with you

So scared about the fact, when we couldn’t talk I still didn’t know what to do

I had no idea if you felt the same

Did your heart flutter at the sound of my name

I wanted to tell you so many times we even started saying I do you know

Letting it slip out almost, I said “ I lo” I mean I do thinking the other was a big no no

Then I heard you whisper silently I love you

I almost cried saying I love you to

Every day it seems I love you more, the closer we get the more that box we talk about begins to open feelings come out pouring

Love and life with you will never be dull or boring

Expressing our feelings every time we make love, it seems there are no words to describe

From all this our hearts even our souls could never again hide

A love we hold that’s rare, what so many want and few are able to find

Love that is beautiful , precious one of a kind

Limitless undying love, unconditional not even if we wanted, we cannot let go

Wanting to be with you as your wife, have your children be happy and with you grow old

Scared at the thought of what the future might sneak upon us, not knowing what it will hold

All I figure now we take it one day at a time going with as it unfolds

No matter what happens I am with you all the way hopefully finding a place to forever
